I can't imagine having gone through this, and I'm so sorry both you and your son had to go through something so heartbreaking. Alcohol is a snake and takes over far before most of us realize it. My father is a raging alcoholic and we are feeling pretty scared as of late that we will lose him to the bottle. He's only in his fifties. He just can't give it up and doesn't know how to cope with daily stressors and the demands of life any other way.
