I saw so much of my own experience in this story. Mainly, dating older men and being pressured to have sex, even though I had every intention of waiting until marriage. Like you, I gave in and was treated poorly afterward. It takes time learning how to stand your ground and say no to charming men when you are young, vulnerable, and naive. I'm sorry you went through this, but I think we could both agree we are better and wiser today because of these experiences.
