I started walking with my dog in the morning, after being faced with the realization that I needed to switch up my morning routine to avoid anxiety. I made a playlist called "inner breakfast" that I listen to on my walks, and it's been such a positive way to start the day; being out in the sunshine like you mentioned, and letting my creativity flow.
I ran long distance for years, but my knees can't take it anymore...at least not daily. So, walking, HIIT, and yoga are where I'm focusing my attention. I hope you heal soon!
