I think it all comes down to your intentions, Chris. If you are wanting to make some healthier choices, there is nothing wrong with incorporating some other foods into your diet. However, there is also nothing wrong with eating more palatable foods in moderation. I know for me, and after years of practicing listening to my body, I can tell the difference between mindlessly eating and treating myself to a food I enjoy…regardless of its health content. I would encourage you to look into intuitive eating. It’s a very sustainable and individualized approach to wellness.
