So relatable. I left the church last year after feeling unsupported and shamed for my sexuality. I don't plan on going back either and will let my children decide whatever they want when it comes to religion. Most churches will say, "Everyone is welcome," and, "We love everyone." The part they often leave out is they only love you if you act like them. Do anything different and you are judged. Not Jesusy at all.
