Thanks for sharing this info, Nicole. I think there are so many benefits to come from both traditional and self-publishing. Since I've already self-published though, I'm wanting to have the experience of traditional publishing with the book I'm currently working on. I like the idea of having help with the promotion piece, getting it in bookstores, etc. I've also heard that some traditional pubs pay you upfront which would be nice considering the time that goes into publishing!
