This is so powerful, Oluchi. I found many of the experiences you share relatable to some of the things my mom has gone through with men, dating in her 50s. She's still learning how to set healthy boundaries.

It's really sad that some never grow up; it's also sad hearing how disrespected black women are by black men. I'm glad you've found an inner strength to make you less reliant on their approval.
