Unfortuntely, this isn’t always the case. And honestly, I've seen this idea ruin the bodies and minds of many healthy people...including me.

In my opinion, it's better to find clothes that fit you versus trying to fit into too small of clothes. I also think it's important to question whether or not you are eating "too much" or just eating enough for your body, and not mirroring the advice of diet culture.

There's tons of research that shows weight is not an accruate way to measure health. You can live inside of a fat body and be healthier than someone who lives inside of a thin body.

I don't mean to rain on your parade, but as someone who battled an eating disorder for several years, I want to make sure others are aware of the messages and truths I missed out on.

I think it's okay to want to lose weight and find balance with our diet. But I can guarantee the way there is never by restriction and black and white thinking.
