Wow. This couldn't be more relatable.

I pride myself on being a smart girl but not in matters of the heart considering my experience. I really should have paid more attention to the “Slow down” warnings. Instead, I chose to put the pedal to the metal only to come to a grinding halt with pieces of my heart strewn around like bloody confetti.
